Overview

Solterra is an open-world farming, combat and crafting game that runs entirely in your browser. Grow golden corn, battle slimes in the eastern wilds, gather wood and stone, and craft the rare Sol Crystal.

Four zones (west→east, each a different ground colour): 🌱 Homestead Meadow (farming), 🌲 Whispering Woods (wood), ⛏️ Stone Quarry (stone), ⚔️ The Wilds (slimes & the Slime King).
Engine: Three.js + TypeScript, 3D low-poly, no download.
Art: CC0 assets from Kenney.nl; slimes are procedurally generated.
Audio: fully procedural (synthesized in-browser) — no audio files.
Saves: your farm, inventory, stats and position auto-save to your browser every 10 seconds and when you leave the tab.
Characters: pick one of 8 playable low-poly heroes on the start screen before entering the world.
Chain: runs on Solana mainnet — a Phantom wallet connection is required to enter, and the game references the project's real $SOLT token (launching soon). Playing is free; the game never mints or sells anything.

Items & resources

Six tools live in your hotbar from the start; resources are what you grow, gather and fight for.

The Vitality Charm's price rises each time you buy it. Gold, upgrades and their effects are saved with your progress.

Slimes live in the eastern wilds. Face one with the Sword selected and press SPACE or click to swing.

The Slime King appears in the eastern wilds every 2 minutes. He's the fastest route to a Sol Crystal — no crafting required.

Progression

You start with 100 HP. Almost every action grants XP: tilling (+1), chopping & mining (+5), harvesting (+8), and combat (+10 to +40).
Leveling up requires level × 50 XP (50 for level 2, 100 for level 3, and so on). Each level adds +10 max HP and fully heals you.
Eat Golden Corn (press H) any time for +25 HP.
If your HP hits 0 you faint and respawn back at the meadow — you keep all your items.

Gathering yields: harvesting gives 1–3 Golden Corn, chopping a tree gives 2–4 Wood, mining a rock gives 1–3 Stone. Trees and rocks take a few hits to break.

Solana

Solterra runs on Solana mainnet. A Phantom wallet connection is required to start the game — you connect on the start screen and the game reads your wallet to show your balances. Connecting and playing are free: the game never spends your SOL, and it never asks you to buy anything to play. (The network is configurable — a devnet build exists for development — but the live game is mainnet.)

The $SOLT token (launching soon). Solterra references a single real project token, $SOLT. The game only references it — it reads your balance and links you out to trade. It never mints supply, holds mint authority, or sells you anything.

Until the token launches, the in-game ◎ Sol Vault panel simply shows $SOLT — launching soon.
Once it's live, the same panel shows your $SOLT balance, a Buy / Trade link and the token's official contract address.
Play-to-earn: harvesting, slaying slimes, beating the Slime King and finishing quests accrue pending $SOLT you'll be able to claim in-game (signed with your wallet, daily-capped) once the token and reward treasury go live.

Honest status: $SOLT is not live yet, and there is no contract address to share yet. When it launches, the official address will appear here and in the in-game panel — until then, any "$SOLT" token or contract address you see is an impostor. Never buy from anyone claiming to be it.

FAQ

Is Solterra free?

Yes. It runs in your browser with no download — you just need a free Phantom wallet to connect on the start screen. Connecting and playing cost nothing; the game only reads your wallet to show your balances.

Do I need a crypto wallet?

Yes. A free Phantom wallet is required to enter — you connect on the start screen and the game reads your wallet to show your balances. Connecting and playing are free; you never spend SOL just to play. You'd only need real SOL if you choose to buy $SOLT once it launches.

Is there a token I can buy?

A real token — $SOLT — is launching soon, but it is not live yet, so there's no contract address to buy right now. When it launches, the game will show your $SOLT balance and a Buy / Trade link, and the official contract address will be published here. You'll also be able to earn $SOLT by playing (farming, slime hunting, the Slime King and quests). Until launch, beware impostor tokens or contract addresses claiming to be $SOLT.

Will I lose my progress?

Your progress auto-saves to your browser every 10 seconds and when you close the tab. Fainting never costs you items. Clearing your browser data will erase the save.

What do I need to run it?

Any modern browser with WebGL — desktop or laptop recommended for keyboard controls.
